Consent to medical treatment--does doctor know best?

چکیده
One of the agreeable features about engaging in practice in the sphere ofpersonal injuries litigation is the opportunity which it gives to lawyers to get to know a variety of medical practitioners. Over some 25 years I made a host ofgood friends in the medical profession, and I am glad to see so many here tonight, together with some legal stalwarts who are brave enough to put up with listening to me holding forth yet again. May I say what a pleasure it is to have the chance to address you and to renew old friendships.
